Today, I tried out Call of duty 4 on my PC:
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @2.00 GHz(E4400)
- RAM: 2GB Ram @400 MHz
- Video Card: nVidia 7500 LE =(
In the beginning of the game, you start off in a training camp.
There's an instructor that will tell you to pick up a gun, practice shooting, learn a melee attack with your gun and use your radar to find your objectives.
Graphics:
Wow, just wow.
The graphics are amazing, they have stunning lighting, shading, and texture.
When you first start off the game, the instructors face is very detailed and this of course is on my slow video card.
Imagine the graphic settings on high, the game would look so realistic.
Game play:
Controls in the game are almost the same as Call of Duty 1.
The HUD is much better in the game then any other version of Call of Duty.
When you're running or standing, there's a different setting for the aim; your aim changes as you run, walk, or even stand.
There is a ship which you have to raid, once you get on the ship, you would notice that the crosshair keeps going up and down because the ship is moving due to the waves of the ocean.
When you are sniping, you can hold the steady button which makes you hold your breath to make your hands more steady so that you can aim better.
Overall I rate this game 9/10.
I rated it 9/10 because it's a bit laggy at times which I can't stand.
Any comments are welcome.
