Final Fantasy XIII / 13 - Trailer

Final Fantasy XIII looks to be a promising game for the PS3.
It looks like a very good game from the trailer, but as the old saying goes "You can't judge a book by it's cover.".
I hope Final Fantasy 13 will be an awesome game otherwise I got my hopes up for nothing.

The graphics in FFXIII is just awesome. It's very hard or you can't tell the difference between the gameplay and the videos
In the PS2 FF series, you can tell the difference between actual gameplay or a video easily, but in the PS3 FF series, it's very hard to distinguish between the two due to PS3's powerful cell powered processor.

Anyway, that's all I could figure out, the sound is also great.
Here's a trailer of FFXIII:

Halo PC v1.07 - Tips - Part 1 - Lag shots / Shooting

I always see newbies on Halo saying "I shot you in the head, how come you didn't die?" and "WHAT THE HELL? I sticked the nade on you and it just fell down, wtf?".

In Halo PC, you must beat lag, it's not like counter-strike where you aim at the enemy, shoot and kill him.
In Halo PC, you have to shoot where the person is going to go, for example, a person is going to the left side, I have to shoot left of him to get the shot on him.
I can't just aim at his head and expect a hs, I have to beat lag so I aim to the side of his direction and shoot.

Practice this in the average latency which you play on.
Don't go into high latency servers or messed up servers which have lag bumps, it'll be extremely irritating to find out that your shot wasn't registered.
You may also consider playing in an average latency server like me, I don't go on servers that have 60 latency and then suddenly go to another server which has a latency of 130.
I would suck in the server that had the 130 latency.
Why you ask? Because if I was playing on a server that had 60 latency for an hour, and then I suddenly went to a server that had a latency of 160, my aim would be horrible, I would get confused between where to shoot.

Different latencys affect on where you shoot, if I was on a server with a low latency, I would shoot not to far from the head, if I was on a high latency server, I would have to practice in order to figure out which is the best place to shoot.

Practice your shooting on a server with an average latency of <80 and when you mastered it, go to a high latency server.
This will make you get used to the latencys and make you an overall better player.

That's all for part 1.

Final Fantasy 12 - How to get the zodiac spear

The zodiac spear is the most powerful weapon in the game.
It has an awesome attack of +150 and like all spears, +8 evasion.
To obtain the zodiac spear, you must not open chests in these four areas:

1) Treasure chest in Lowtown, outside of Old Dalan's place
2) When sneaking into the palace (Before getting the Goddess Tear), there are several chests in the Cellar. Do not open the two chests in the southeast corner.
3) All treasure chests in the Confiscatory (the place where you get your weapons and armor back after being captured)
4) In the Phon Coast, later in the game, there is an island with 16 chests all near each other. The 4th chest that must NOT be opened is among these, so it is best to leave them all alone. They only contain Gil anyway.

If you didn't open any of those chests, the zodiac spear will be the Necrohol of Nabudis.

Here's a video showing you where to go in the Necrohol of Nabudis:

Counter-Strike 1.6 - Bhop Script Tutorial / Guide

I always see people bunny hoping in cs and it got me wondering how they did it.
Then I found the bhopscript and it was easy as that.

Follow this simple tutorial if you want the script:

- Download bhopscript.cfg

- Copy and paste the bhopscript.cfg in your Valve folder that's inside the Counter-Strike 1.6 folder

- Right click on your cs 1.6 shortcut and select Properties

- Where it says Target:, it should say the shortcuts directory like "somewhere/Counter-Strike 1.6\cstrike.exe"

- At the end of the shortcut, add this:

- console +exec bhopscript.cfg

That's it, test it out by running counter strike with that shortcut.

Enjoy. :)

Warcraft III The Frozen Throne - Game guide - Strategy

A good way to win a game fast is to develop a good plan.
You need a strategy.

Here's one strategy that I learned which is highly effective at noobs / newbies.

It's very simple actually, just follow this guide:

- Use 4 peasants to collect gold from the gold mine, use the 5th peasant to make a barracks.
- Train 4 more peasants to harvest lumber.
- Train another peasant and have him make 5 farms or more.
- Use the peasant that you made the barracks with to make an Altar of the Kings.
- Train a bloodmage
- Train 10 footies
- Directly kill town hall, if you're close to death, use the town teleport scroll to teleport back to your camp and train another footie or revive the bloodmage.

Here's a video that demonstrates this strategy:

Call of duty 4 - Summary

Today I finished the game Call of duty 4 : Modern Warfare.
I have to admit, this game was just awesome.
I usually don't like playing war games since they don't have a story line most of the time.
So anyways, let me tell a short summary about what happen in the game.

In the beginning, you start off in a training camp, you meet the Captain who's name is Price.
He makes fun of the name of the main character, the main character's name is Soap; Sergeant "Soap" MacTavish.
You have to do a test which you didn't study for, there's a timer, if you don't finish it within the time they give you, you'll fail and you'll have to do it again.
Once you beat the test, you start your missions.
First, you infiltrate a ship which has intel for Khaled Al-Asad.
After a few missions, you end up playing with the U.S counter-terrorists as Sergeant Paul Jackson.

You have to explore the middle east and search the buildings to find Khaled Al-Asad.
In the end when you didn't find Khaled Al-Asad, a nuclear bomb detonates and everybody dies.

Then you play a few SAS missions, after the SAS missions when Khaled Al-Asad is dead you join forces with the U.S.
Again you play some missions, then at the end Imran Zakhaev releases nuclear missiles that are targeting the U.S.A.
You have to get in the control center and stop the nuclear missiles.
After you have done that, you chase after Imran Zakhaev.

**Warning: Spoilers**
In the end, everybody dies expect for you, I don't think Captain Price died, but he did look pretty hurt.
You are left on a bridge and Imran Zakhaev is standing right beside you, you keep looking at Captain Price and Imran Zakhaev, after a while, the guy in the helicopter who provided air support before comes back and shoots down the helicopter.
Captain Price either dies or faints, but either way he gives you his pistol and you kill Imran Zakhaev and the soldiers protecting him.
And thats pretty much it, the game is done.
**Warning: Spoilers**

Any comments are welcome.

Counter-Strike 1.6 game guide

When I first started playing Counter-Strike, I was a noob, everyone kept calling me a noob and it hurt me deep down inside.
What I started to do was let everybody go in, attack the enemies then I would steal their kills.
Sure, people did call me a kser, but hey you have to get kills some how.

Never buy Auto-Snipers, people will call you a noob when you get it because the auto-snipers can kill very easily thus it's considered a noob's weapon.

Get big sprays that have a hot chick in them, people will get distracted(if you know what I mean) and then you can get a free kill!

Well that's all that I can think of right now.

Any comments are welcome.

Call of duty 4 Modern Warfare PC - Review

Today, I tried out Call of duty 4 on my PC:

- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @2.00 GHz(E4400)
- RAM: 2GB Ram @400 MHz
- Video Card: nVidia 7500 LE =(

In the beginning of the game, you start off in a training camp.
There's an instructor that will tell you to pick up a gun, practice shooting, learn a melee attack with your gun and use your radar to find your objectives.

Graphics:

Wow, just wow.
The graphics are amazing, they have stunning lighting, shading, and texture.
When you first start off the game, the instructors face is very detailed and this of course is on my slow video card.
Imagine the graphic settings on high, the game would look so realistic.

Game play:

Controls in the game are almost the same as Call of Duty 1.
The HUD is much better in the game then any other version of Call of Duty.
When you're running or standing, there's a different setting for the aim; your aim changes as you run, walk, or even stand.
There is a ship which you have to raid, once you get on the ship, you would notice that the crosshair keeps going up and down because the ship is moving due to the waves of the ocean.

When you are sniping, you can hold the steady button which makes you hold your breath to make your hands more steady so that you can aim better.

Overall I rate this game 9/10.
I rated it 9/10 because it's a bit laggy at times which I can't stand.

Any comments are welcome.
