F.E.A.R Combat is a free online only version of F.E.A.R, it was released on August 17, 2006.
Once you go to their site, you have to input your birthday so that they can make sure you're not under the age of 18, but I personally think that it's useless, anyone can input an age of 18+.
So that being said, you have to register and enter a validate e-mail address that you know the password of, otherwise you'll end up with no cd-key which is required to play the game.
I think it's awesome that they released this, most company's only focus in on the money and that's what I don't like.
This game is awesome, I play it every other day.
Also, you have to have punkbuster enabled for most servers otherwise you'll get kicked automatically.
