Overpriced PSP Accessories

I recently wanted to get a PSP screen protector and a silicon case. When I went to FutureShop, however, I saw that the price of one screen protector was something that I did not have in mind. The price was $10 for just one tiny plastic sheet. When I saw the price, I was in shock. How could one small sheet of plastic cost so much?

I then decided to go to eBay in hopes of finding a better, more affordable screen protector and I did. The price difference is huge between the eBay products and the FutureShop ones. There was an offer for 3 screen protectors and the price was only $2.50, but I didn't need 3 screen protectors so I decided to search around a little longer and saw another offer. The offer was 1 silicon case, 1 screen protector, and a USB cable charger for the PSP. Normally, offers like that would cost more than $10, but on eBay it cost only $1 plus shipping.

I thought to my self that there was no way some person would offer something like that for so little, it had to be one of those cheap products, but when the products came, I was amazed by the quality. Not only did I not spend $9 extra on a sheet of plastic, but I also got quality products that I'm still using today.

School and Gaming

School would be fine if the teachers gave us no homework or assignments. We would be able to play games all night long without having to worry about the project that's due on Monday or the assignment that's due tomorrow.

Why I don't like school
I hate school for a lot of reasons, but my top reason is gaming.

Not only does school prevent me from midnight gaming, but it also forces me to play non-RPG games and I love RPG games. Most RPG games such as Final Fantasy have places where you can save the game, but say you're on a quest and you have to kill this rare monster or find these rare items and it's 11:00 PM at night, your parents would come bursting in your room telling you to go to sleep which would piss you off if you were almost done the quest.

You cannot save the game at anytime in RPG games, you would have to go to the save point and save the game there otherwise you would have to find the item again or the monster and kill him.
That has happened to me a lot, I would find an extremely rare item and my parents would come in my room, turn off my T.V and PS2 and force me to bed. That has pissed me off because some of the items only appears 1/9000 times so you can imagine how many more items I would have to try to search for it hoping I would find it.

Why I like school
School makes losers get a life. They can go there and learn about the subjects, but at the same time make real life friends and not Internet friends living 2000 miles away.

Some games use english terms such as metaphors and personifications that most people don't know of. A loser would say "What the heck? Are the developers a bunch of idiots? A boat can't cry...". Also, some games include lot's of science terms and facts, most gamers would not understand what's going on or what the heck the characters would be talking about.

I could go on and on, but I don't have time for today.

What do you guys think about school and gaming?

Remembering old games - Need for Speed 4: High Stakes

Need for Speed 4 was an awesome game that will go down in history. The game had awesome graphics and sound, the graphics were so good that some people though it was a PS2 game when I showed them it. This was one of those games which are really good and people will remember.

The graphics:

Pros: The graphics are so good that some people considered it a PS2 game when I showed to them. The textures are nicely done with lots of detail along with the road. The road has lighting which you don't expect to see in PS1 games. There are skid marks which are awesome. There's lighting on the cars window, they don't reflect, but it's still good. Also, the cars have lighting on them which makes the car more realistic.

Cons: The background is not so great, it's been terribly shrunk as in resolution to the state where a person can see the pixels, and pixels are not suppose to be seen.

The audio:

Pros: Need for Speed 4: High Stakes features an awesome techno track or as some people would say: "electronic"music. Here's a soundtrack from the game:

As you can tell, the music is really good, I sometimes turn on the game just to listen to the music.
If you listen to rap only, then I'm guessing you'd be saying "that sucks".

Cons: I really can't find any, the sound is so good, the developers did an excellent job.

The gameplay:

The gameplay would be very good if the developers of the game didn't give the computer an advantage.

Pros: It is very easy to steer a car that has high handling. Car's like the Porsche 911 have high acceleration which can make a difference between winning and losing in a race.

Cons: This is probably the worst thing about the game, this has frustrated me when I played NFS 4: High Stakes. The computer has the ability to accelerate faster then you, brake better then you, steer better, go over the top speed limit(the cars top speed limit, not the road), and it also has the ability to accelerate at a constant rate with the brake on!

That is really not fair for the user. It gives the computer an advantage which is really cheap. I have tried mimicing the computer, but failed only to have to face my anger. I almost broke my PS1 once because of my anger, I hate the developers so much for giving the computer an unfair advantage.

To rap things up, this is an awesome game which I recommend you to buy(warning: do not buy it if you are attending an anger mangement class).

Have fun. :)

You can't play games when you're fat

You can't play games when you're fat, your fingers will be too bulky and fat for you to play a game.
If you are a PC gamer, you can't play games because when you try to press a button with your finger, you'll be pressing multiple buttons at once.

If you're a console gamer, then it might be different, you cannot play any console expect for the Wii because you use a remote with the Wii and the buttons are far apart from each other.
The Wii is a great way to lose fat and weight so get out there fatties and buy a Wii.

There are a lot of reasons why you can't be a gamer if you're fat, as I mentioned above your fingers will be too fat. Another reason is when you sit down at your chair, if you happen to have fat on your neck then that's a problem, how would you look at the monitor? You would have to hang it on the wall for you to see it and play.

All you fatties out there, go get some exercise!
And even if you're not fat, do some exercises do make sure that you don't end up being fat.

Any comments are welcome.

God of War: Chains of Olyumpus

I recently got God of War: Chain of Olympus for the PSP. The game is not that good although I do have a good time playing it.
The reason why it's not good is because it doesn't have a story line like all the other PSP games. Unlike God of War games for the PS2, this one has no story, in God of War 1, you are Kratos who is trying to get revenge upon Ares for making you kill your own wife, in God of War 2, you get sick of being a God and head out to kill innocent people but then Zeus tricks you into using the Blade of Olyumpus which actually steals all of your Godly powers and makes you into a mere human which makes you seek revenge upon Zeus once he comes down to earth and kills all of your army with the Blade of Olyumpus.

Wow, that was along explanation. Heh, well anyways the PSP is an awesome handheld device, I wish I had a PS3 to make it even more awesome with PSP remote play.

Any comments are welcome.

PSP's Rule!

I just got my PSP about two days ago and let me tell you, it rules!
I modded it as soon as I got it, it had a 3.80 firmware installed on it by Sony. I used Pandoras battrey and a magic memory stick that my friend let me borrow and let me tell you, it took only five minutes to mod.
Yup, five measly minutes to mod.

I bought the Daxters Pack which comes with a 1 GB memory stick, daxters game plus family guy videos. The memory stick is good for putting PS1 games on, but it's not good if you're going to want the newest games since they're over a GB.

If you have a PS3 and a PSP, you could use remote play which lets you play PS3 games, PS2 games or PS1 games on your PSP. Remote play connects the PSP with the PS3 which forms a LAN like connection, most of the games you play on the PS3 can be played on the PSP in HD.

You can also put music on your PSP, and movies. It can be used as a big MP3 player, but don't try to sneek it in to class as you will get caught. It's way too big to be put in your pockets.

Another thing is wLAN, it's an awesome tool for networking your router to your PSP. The best part is, it's so easy to do. You don't even need the USB adapter for the router, the PSP is most likely to be able to connect to your router, how clever is Sony for putting that handy tool in?
I'll tell you. Very clever, not only can you go on the Internet, but you can also use Skype as a messenger to talk to your friends and there's also an Internet radio.

Overall, the PSP is a handy console that will stay on the market for quite a while just like the PS2, there's still new games coming out for it and it's still a live.
